Lower Taxes
Effective Leadership
Better Quality of Life
Taxes are way too high
town projects don’t get done (or never start)
and we the taxpayers feel more and more like the Town doesn’t put our priorities first, and less and less like we’re getting the value we deserve and have paid for with our hard earned money.
Now is the time for new leadership that puts community and you first, regardless of politics
As your councilman I will deliver:
Lower Taxes and Increased Affordability
More efficiency, lower government operating expenses and savings through shared services
Aggressively seek out non-tax dollar funding opportunities
Work with the community and utilities to lower energy bills
Proven, Effective Leadership
Properly plan and implement critical projects so they get done right - and on budget - the first time
Proactively address town projects - no more letting problems get worse, and more costly, for the tax payers
Effectively cut through red tape, not be held back by it
Better Quality of Life
Use your tax dollars to actually improve your life - taxes are too high not to have high-quality amenities and services
Make sure the town supports local business so we can attract new businesses, not keep on losing them
Maintain our parks, roads and infrastructure - your tax funded assets have been neglected for too long
DONATE

To get elected and do work for you on the board - I need your help!
Effectively getting the word out with yard signs, advertisements and mailers is, unfortunately, expensive.
I know costs are high right now - that’s one of the reasons I’m running - but every dollar helps, and with your support we can make positive change for you and the town we call home.
I’m not a politician - and I certainly didn’t have running for local office on my bingo card for 2025!
So why am I running?
I’m glad you asked…
The reason is you, and all the other members of our community who are frustrated with paying high taxes and getting very little back for those taxes.
I’m running because we all keep hearing about new parks, improved infrastructure and better roads - but those words don’t turn into real action, and projects that do start drag on for years or decades.
I’m running because I heard way too many members of the community express that they don’t think the Town Board listens to their concerns, and doesn’t put the tax payers first.
I’m running to do good and make a positive impact on the lives of my friends, neighbors, and everyone in the community - and I mean everyone.
Now, wanting to make an impact in the community and having the experience and ability to do so are two different things - but at this point in my life as a husband, father and community member I have a simple test that determines whether I move forward:
I ask myself two questions:
Will it make a positive difference for my family and community?
Do I have the experience and skillset to do a good job?
If the answer to both those question is yes, the answer is simple: do it
i’ve built my career on solving real problems, for real people.
I am the most qualified candidate to serve you on the Town Board:
For 10+ years as a human-centered designer I put in the time to truly understand people’s problems and design solution around actual people and their needs.
So I know how to identify and solve problems
I earned my Master’s degree in Public Administration from Columbia University so I would be better able to serve my community.
I have the training and resources to be an effective public servant
I work at the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority, managing a $50 million budget for programs that save NYS residents money on their energy bills.
I know how to cut through government red-tape
I have 15 years of project management experience in both the private and public sector with a proven record of successful, completed projects.
I know how to work with businesses and government and get things done
I’m not a politician, I’m a father, husband and member of the community, and as Town Council member, I will work tirelessly to make our town a better Carmel, for you.
